The short version

SimpleFileKit processes your files entirely inside your web browser. Your documents, spreadsheets, and images are never uploaded to our servers — because we don’t have file-processing servers. We cannot see, store, or share your files.

Files you process

All conversions, merges, and edits happen locally on your device using JavaScript. When you close or refresh the page, any files you loaded are gone from memory. We never receive a copy.

Third-party libraries

To run in your browser, the site loads open-source code libraries from public content-delivery networks (such as cdnjs and jsDelivr). The Remove Background tool additionally downloads an AI model file on first use. These providers may log standard request information (such as your IP address) as part of delivering those files, per their own policies.

Analytics and advertising

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits, and we may display ads through Google AdSense. Advertising partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads; you can manage ad personalisation through your Google account settings. This section will be updated to name the exact providers once enabled.

Cookies

The tools themselves do not require cookies. A single browser storage value remembers your light/dark theme choice. Any other cookies come from analytics or advertising partners named above.
